New Energy Capital is providing development and project advisory services to Countrywide Hydrogen for their green hydrogen ecosystem in Tasmania.
The hydrogen ecosystem consists of three core project parts:
Hydrogen production facilities: Infrastructure at three strategically positioned sites for the production and storage of green hydrogen.
Hydrogen refuelling stations: Stations to fuel road transport heavy vehicles.
Hydrogen heavy vehicle fleet: Fuel cell trucks and conversion of existing diesel engines to include injected hydrogen.
This is Hydrogen HyWay #1 and will establish a crucial link between northern Tasmania and southern regions, powered by emissions-free hydrogen.
New Energy Capital is co-investing and providing project advisory services to EsusEnergy Ltd in the development of their Croatia Bioenergy projects consisting of:
Power stations: Construction and operation of 22 x 2MWe advanced gasification biomass and waste-to-energy cogeneration projects, with installed capacity of some 55MWe.
Pellet Plants: Biomass and waste preparation and pellet fuel plants, strategically located adjacent to the cogeneration power plants, to produce over 400,000 tonnes of pellets from waste and biomass fuel sources.
Plantations: Acquisitions and concessions on up to 10,000 hectares of unused land to build a Miscanthus Biomass Supply Chain, future-proofing fuel supplies to the cogeneration plants.
Miscanthus: Production of 22 million Miscanthus plants a year and plantations producing over 300,000 tonnes of chipped and baled Miscanthus biomass by 2032 providing alternative fuel for the cogeneration plants.
Future Growth: Development further 20 cogeneration and pellet projects taking our installed capacity of over 100 MWe, in Croatia alone, plus regional and international expansion.
